Penny Darbyshire
Penny has a long and varied research background focused in quantitative research. Her skill as a stats nerd is communicating complex concepts easily and with a focus on business implications. At String, Penny combines her background in creative problem solving with extensive quantitative experience to address research needs – big and small.
Penny is an expert in customised research design in areas including innovation, pricing, customer experience, segmentation, branding and more. She is now applying this expertise in a flexible and consultative way by working closely and collaboratively with clients to meet their research needs.
Penny’s previously roles include being co-founder of innovation research agency Raspberry, Regional Director of advanced analytics at a global research agency and working academically at a Melbourne-based University. She has worked extensively across sectors including telecommunications, technology, banking and finance, social and government, consumer goods, sports and events.
